I was born in Pensacola, Florida and have since been a child of the sun. I was lucky enough to move around and live in many beautiful places including Hawaii and eventually made my way to the East Coast due to my Father's position in the Military. As I progressed in life, I found that I wanted to pursue a career in law enforcement. Due to having my son and daughter and the fact that they were young, I decided to pursue my degree first. I attended Wor-Wic Community College and obtained my associates degree in law enforcement. While there I created the first Criminal Justice Club, I was a student ambassador and I was a part of the Student Government Association. I then became a police officer with the Fruitland Police Department soon after and eventually went back to finish my bachelor degree at Wilmington University. While a police officer I received numerous awards to include two General Assembly Citations from Senator Mary Beth Carroza and one from a Lower Shore County Delegate as well as Officer of the Year, Life Saving Award, and many others.
I truly enjoy spending time with my children (2) and watching them grow into young adults. I share the love I have for jiu jitsu with my son and the love I have for horseback riding with my daughter. I love to help others when and however I can and I hope to instill that into my children alongside a strong sense of integrity. I also love traveling, food, and finding a good show to watch on netflix while being a couch potato from time to time.
