Terry is a Maryland Eastern Shore native with more than 40 years of experience working in Child Welfare. She graduated from college with her social work degree. She began her employment with the Department of Social Services in child welfare, investigating child maltreatment and licensing resource parents for children in foster care. These experiences allowed Terry the opportunity to continue her education in social work through various training in the child welfare field. Retirement came for Terry in 2013, but after a few months, she returned to Worcester County DSS as a family support worker and then as a prevention and outreach coordinator for the child advocacy center. Terry is excited to have the opportunity to use her expansive knowledge and experience to assist the Lower Shore CASA program in its mission.
